INCIDENTALS

Uniforms
Uniforms are required of all students, from pre-K to Grade 12. Specific information on the requirements and estimated costs are available in the Admission Office. Flynn and O'Hara of Philadelphia is our exclusive supplier; their web site is www.flynnohara.com.

Transportation to Doane Academy
The school works closely with each family to explore all of the transportation options (public school busing, car pools, light rail and door to door or bus stop service provided by Doane Academy buses). For those who are eligible for public school busing (PA and NJ) there is not additional cost. For those who opt for busing provided by the school (NJ only), the costs will vary this year for the first time based on the actual service provided. The minimum out of pocket expense for round trip transportation on Doane Academy buses will be $15.00/day. Many families in NJ are eligible for a state reimbursement of approximately $912/student/year. The reimbursement requires timely completion of the B6T form. For this form and any other information regarding transportation options, please contact Alice McGee at 609-386-3500 ext. 42.

Lunches, snacks, special dinners
The school offers a choice of a daily hot lunch entrée, including a vegetarian option, occasional homemade soup and salad bar at a cost per day of $5.00. Lunch can be purchased on a weekly, monthly or yearly basis. Special occasion dinners such as the traditional Christmas Mystery Dinner, are included in the Activity/Book Fee and are supported by gifts from alumni and parents. Snacks are sold to Upper School students in the Senior Store during break. Lunch Menu and Order Form
