Instrumental - String Ensemble

String Ensemble is a collaborative effort of both upper and lower school students who participate in the private string instruction program. Students in PreK-12th grade are able to participate at any level of experience. The Private Music Instruction Beginner Program is designed for children with no previous stringed instrument experience; this string program combines the Suzuki method with traditional Western teaching methods. The Intermediate - Advanced Program continues to develop the technique and musicianship of each student. All students study music theory and ear training. Playing in the String Ensemble provides the Private Music Instruction students with practical use of the knowledge and techniques presented in the private lessons as well as the gratification of playing with others.
