Development Officer
Doreen Caniglia (left) has her BA from Rowan University in Elementary Education and Sociology. Before coming to Doane, she taught for many years in Pre-K, Kindergarten and 1st Grade classrooms in a number of non-profit schools. Doreen served as both Assistant Director and Director of a preschool where she oversaw their day to day operations, led a team of teachers, and served on their fundraising committee. She began teaching at Doane in 2017 in the Primary Program and ultimately as a Kindergarten teacher before making the transition to the Development office in the summer of 2022. From this background, Doreen understands the importance of an independent education and the lifelong impact it can have on a child.
