Why should you contribute to the Annual Fund?
Your support of the Doane Academy Annual Fund makes a real difference.  Tuition only covers a percentage of the total cost of educating each student.  Your gifts support innovative educational, athletic and fine arts programs, faculty salaries and development, classroom supplies, and the enhancement and maintenance of our facilities.  These contributions touch the life of every student.

What is the goal for the 2008-2009 Annual Fund?
As Doane Academy moves into its "Bold New Era," we have set aggressive goals to ensure that we continue our forward momentum.

Our financial goal this year is to raise $450,000. These funds will allow Doane Academy to meet our budget obligations and continue our forward progress. While this seems like a large amount, this is in line with our fundraising for each of the past 3 years. We have done it before, and with your help, we will do it again.

Equally important this year is our goal to increase the participation rate from all of the constituencies of the Doane family. Your donation, no matter the size, is a demonstration of your support for Doane Academy, its mission and values.

How much should we give?
How much you give is a highly personal decision.  Doane Academy appreciates your gift, no matter the size.
We ask that you give thoughtful consideration to how Doane Academy has impacted your child's or your preparation to meet the challenges of today's world and consider making the Annual Fund one of your top charitable priorities. 

You can spread your gift out over several installments, use a credit card or give appreciated securities.  And don't forget that many companies offer a matching gift program which can double, or even triple, your gift to Doane Academy.
