An Independent Episcopal Day School for Ages 3 Through 12th Grade in Burlington, New Jersey

Welcome to

Doane Academy

Thank you for your interest in Doane Academy and for including us in your school search. Selecting the right school for your child is an important decision, one that requires a great deal of research and thought. We encourage you to use this website to familiarize yourself with our school. The best way to learn about Doane, however, is to visit our campus.

Our beautiful, historic campus rests on the banks of the Delaware River and offers students a unique environment for rigorous academics, extra-curricular opportunities, and student life enriched by traditions that have developed over more than 180 years. Our classrooms are exciting learning environments, where students from age 3 to Grade 12 are engaged, challenged, and encouraged.

Doane seeks to attract curious learners, who strive to impact the school and the world beyond. While we take pride in the rigor of our academic and extracurricular programs, we also value each student’s character development. Our goal is to inspire our students to discover their unique potential and to define their personality and character. We encourage students to be significant - to add value to the people and places in their lives. A Doane student is one who respects the relationships in his or her life; has a passion for an area of academics, the arts, leadership, athletics, or service; and shares his or her distinct perspective to enhance and strengthen the learning experience for all.

It is truly an exciting time to be a part of Doane Academy as we recognize our past, celebrate our present, and anticipate our future. Our recently constructed Rowan Hall, which opened in September of 2015, allows for growth in enrollment and creative programming with its larger class space and meeting areas.

Please do not hesitate to contact us should you have any questions about Doane Academy or the admission process. We look forward to working with you and your family!
