How to Apply

Doane Academy uses the Standard Application Online (SAO). To begin your application, click here. The priority deadline for the 2025-2026 school year is February 1st. Families who apply by our priority deadline will receive an admission decision by March 10th.

We can receive applications on a rolling basis after the priority deadline, space permitting.

Please be aware of the following cut-off dates for the 2025-2026 school year:

Applicants should be 3 by October 1st, 2025 to enroll in PreK3
Applicants should be 4 by October 1st, 2025 to enroll in PreK4
Applicants should be 5 by October 1st, 2025 to enroll in Kindergarten

PreK - 5th Grade

Step 1: Complete the inquiry form

Step 2: Schedule your classroom visit and assessment

Students applying to PreK - 5th grade complete a classroom visit and assessment as part of the application process. Students will visit with their current grade and complete an assessment with a member of the admission team. Parents and caregivers will also receive a campus tour.

Students applying to PreK and Kindergarten grade will visit from 8:30 am - 12:00 pm.

Students applying to 1st - 5th grade will visit from 8:30 am - 3:10 pm.

Step 3: Complete the online application

We accept the Standard Application Online (SAO). Once you create an SAO account, please designate Doane Academy as a recipient of the application. The online application consists of:

$50 application fee
Parent questionnaire
Transcripts (current and last year; required for applicants applying for 1st - 5th grade)
Teacher recommendation (required for children who have attended school or daycare)

6th - 12th Grade

Step 3: Complete the online application
