Making Doane Academy affordable is one of our top priorities. 

For the 2024-2025 school year:

• 60% of our enrolled students are receiving need-based tuition assistance     
• The average need-based tuition assistance award is $12,000

Need-based Tuition Assistance

Doane Academy uses the Clarity Application to calculate awards and determine each family's eligibility for aid. The process is easy, mobile-friendly, and typically takes less than 30 minutes to complete.

• Not all families will qualify for need-based assistance
• The priority deadline for completing the Clarity Application is February 1st. 
• If you need help completing the process, Clarity offers support at support@claritytuition.com in both English and Spanish. 

Merit Scholarships

Merit scholarships will be renewed annually while a recipient is enrolled at Doane Academy, contingent upon the student remaining in good standing academically and socially.

New Students

We offer merit scholarships to domestic students applying for grades 9 through 11. 

• The total number of awards and the amount of each recipient’s award will be at the discretion of the Admission Committee.
• Merit scholarship awards can be granted up to $10,000
• Recipients will be outstanding individuals, excellent scholars, well-rounded in their engagement outside the classroom, and exhibit leadership potential.

Returning Students

We offer merit scholarships to rising 9th grade students.

• All rising 9th graders are automatically considered for a merit scholarship.
• The total number of awards and the amount of each recipient’s award will be at the discretion of the Admission Committee.
• Those who are awarded a scholarship, receive their award with their re-enrollment contract.

Military Scholarships

We offer $1,000 scholarships to children of current and former military members. Military scholarships will be renewed annually while a recipient is enrolled at Doane Academy, contingent upon the student remaining in good standing.
