We aim to make a Doane Academy education available to all families, regardless of their financial resources. We offer the following forms of tuition assistance:

Need-based Financial Aid

Doane Academy's Financial Aid Program is designed to make a Doane Academy education possible for all families based on demonstrated financial need and the availability of funds. Doane Academy is proud to use the Clarity Application to determine a family’s level of financial need based on the information that families share in the application which includes assets, income, expenses, and debts.

To get started, please go to the Clarity Application and create an account. The application typically takes less than 30 minutes to complete. The Clarity Application is also mobile-friendly so you can complete it from anywhere. You are also able to save your progress and return at any time. At the end of the application, there is a $60 fee to submit, and you can share your application with additional schools that accept the Clarity Application for no additional charge. Simply use the dropdown menu in the application to select those schools.

Please remember to return to your dashboard after you complete and submit your Clarity Application, as Doane Academy requires you to upload additional tax documentation including 2023 W2s, and your most recent pay stub.  

The priority deadline for completing the financial aid application including relevant supplemental documents is February 1st. 

If you need support during the process of completing your application, there is in-app support available as well as email support at support@claritytuition.com in both English and Spanish. The application itself is also fully translated into Spanish.

Merit Scholarships

Students selected as recipients of a merit scholarship will receive annual awards up to $10,000. Merit scholarship recipients will be outstanding individuals, excellent scholars, well-rounded in their engagement outside the classroom, and exhibit leadership potential. Merit scholarships will be renewed annually while a recipient is enrolled at Doane Academy, contingent upon the student remaining in good standing academically and socially.

New Students

We offer merit scholarships to domestic students applying for grades 9 through 11. Finalists are invited to campus to interview with the Head of School. The total number of awards and the amount of each recipient’s award will be at the discretion of the Admission Committee.

Returning Students

We offer merit scholarships to rising 9th grade students. All rising 9th graders are automatically considered for a merit scholarship. Those who are awarded a scholarship, receive their award with their re-enrollment contract. The total number of awards and the amount of each recipient’s award will be at the discretion of the Admission Committee.

Military Scholarships

We offer $1,000 scholarships to children of current and former military members. Military scholarships will be renewed annually while a recipient is enrolled at Doane Academy, contingent upon the student remaining in good standing.
