The City of Burlington

Once a busy industrial town in the 17th and 18th centuries, Burlington, New Jersey is home to a litany of connections to American history, including homes dating back to 1685, the home of Ulysses S. Grant, a home where Benedict Arnold's wife grew up, and a prominent position in the Underground Railroad.

Renowned for its 18th-century architecture and colonial heritage, today Burlington is a small city with antique shops, good restaurants, historic homes, museums, and libraries. Burlington has two stops on the RiverLINE train, which makes traveling to and from the city especially convenient.
