Annual Golf Outing

Celebrating the life of Mark Keays, a great parent and friend of the school, the annual Golf Outing raises funds for our athletic department.

Homecoming Day and Tailgate Event

Every fall, this event is one of our most successful “friend-raisers!” Beginning in the morning with a Doane Alumni soccer game followed by a Middle School soccer game, as well as a Varsity Girls and a Varsity Boys soccer game against league rivals. All of this is combined with music and a tailgating cook-off with great food in a variety of categories, lends itself to one of those days that must be circled on your calendar.

Taste of the Best

Featuring favorite dishes from the top area restaurants! Sample delicious cuisine and fine spirits while hanging out with friends and family. We also host a silent auction during the evening’s festivities. You may bid on items such as sports and theater tickets, memorabilia, artwork, local experiences and more!

Please plan on attending and consider bringing friends, donating an item for the auction, or becoming a sponsor.

Christmas Mystery

This is one of Doane Academy’s oldest traditions. Stemming from our boarding school days, the performance was created by students who were unable to travel home over the holidays. The Mystery is a play, celebrating Jesus’s birth in Bethlehem.

Founder's Day

Each year, Doane Academy takes time to celebrate our Founder, George Washington Doane, during early May.

DoaneNation Day

Each spring the extended Doane Community rallies to show their love and support for the school and all of its distinctive programs through this focused day of giving. Alumni, parents, faculty, students, and friends of Doane Academy challenge each other to meet various giving goals throughout this 24-hour event, with the ultimate goal being to do all that can be done to support Doane, its students, and its legacy as a groundbreaking school.
