Yesterday, 10th graders in the Strong Ethical Leadership class presented proposals for the most sustainable ways to deal with a town's waste. The scenario was that they are all residents of a town called Ashland and that their landfill will reach capacity in 2 years. Students represented different stakeholder groups in the town. Current 11th and 12th grade students volunteered to serve as town council members, and at the end of the class they all came together and voted on a sustainable and beneficial plan.
